Fendi Black Silk Mesh Tiered Hourglass Fur Floral Applique Maxi Dress

In 2016 Fendi began a series of collections inspired by the beauty and romanticism of gardens and flora. These collections told a unique, fanciful narrative that showcased a softer and more traditional side to Fendi. Presumably from this 2016/2017 era, this dress is made from a double-layered fine silk mesh.

The dress begins with a U-shaped halter neckline decorated with weasel fur floral embellishments of red, orchid, peach, aubergine, mauve, moss green, and yellow. On either side are shoulder ties for additional support. Moving towards the nipped waist, the curves waist seams provides an even more slimming appearance.

From there the dress falls into a two-tiered skirt. The outer layer ends at knee level while the bottom, more sheer layer ends at the ankles with a slight high/low hemline.
