With styles featuring bold contrasting colors and elements of texture, McFadden approached design by incorporating global inspirations and classic silhouettes.

From the estate of McFadden’s step-mother, this quilted duster meshes a variety of aesthetics seamlessly. On a sky-blue ground, diamond motifs emulative of southwestern prints are done in shades of yellow, clay, pale teal, and dusty rose. At the hem this motif is emboldened as a band of pale teal and the clay red. The use of primary colors makes this duster pop without being overly intense.
