From the Summer 1981 line, this dress is made from a silk crepe de chine with a muted paisley print in muted tones of brick red, moss green, teal, and buff. The dress features a dainty, ivory lace high collar that is inset into a rounded V-neckline. The lace extends over the dropped shoulder finishing in a zigzag.

Through the bodice, the dress has a relaxed fit and is lightly pleated at the waist. From there a heavily pleated skirt falls to a thigh length.
