Karl Lagerfeld is something of a fashion legend. Having worked for a panoply of notorious fashion houses, Lagerfeld designed for Chloé in the late 60s-80s and later in the 90s. His work at Chloé encapsulated the classic femininity of the label, playing with soft forms and pastel tones.

From the spring 1993 collection, the collection when Karl Lagerfeld returned to his position as designer for Chloe bringing back the free-spirited feminine vibe that Chloe is beloved for. This dress is a perfect example of that, a nostalgic trip back to the 1970s, done in weightless silk with an abstract floral print, fabric-covered buttons, a ruffle collar,cuffs, and a tiered skirt.

This dress is a documented piece as seen in Vogue UK January 1993.

In very good condition with one button missing on the right sleeve and a stain, that blends into the print (see last image).
