Basha Gold

Michel McNabb for Basha Gold Black and White Enamel Triangle Earrings

$165

Michel McNabb is an artisan jewelry designer based in West Palm Beach, practicing masterful techniques and intricate, centuries old metallurgy processes. Inspired by nature, architecture, and the beauty of the world around her, this collection by Michel features the process of vitreous enameling and has been designed exclusively for Basha Gold.

These handmade earrings beautifully incorporate asymmetry into the design. While both earrings are made by layering thin coats of enamel onto the copper backing and firing them multiple times to achieve a high-gloss finish, a portion of one of the earrings has a “sugar coat” a technique by which the enamel was removed before fusing to the layer below. This creates a wistful, textured white portion to the earring contrasting well against the onyx black enamel. The posts of these earrings have been made from sterling silver. A black and white color palette can never go wrong! These craftsman earrings are designed with intentional asymmetry to add an extra layer of interest to a classic aesthetic.
