Vintage Judith Leiber Crystal Life Saver Minaudiere

Known for her tongue-in-cheek design perspective, Judith Leiber holds a special place in the history of modern accessory design. Though some may choose the word kitsch to describe Leiber’s aesthetic, her designs are undoubtedly expressive and find the exciting in the mundane.

This vintage, cylindrical, pillbox minaudiere is crafted from hundreds of hand-set clear and colored crystals of candy-apple red, peridot, and deep orange encircling the minaudiere to resemble Life Saver candies. This dainty yet vivid minaudiere certainly has a youthful vibe and can be used to hold a variety of small treats or trinkets and is highly collectible.
