YSL’s international curiosity is one of the leading facets to his design prowess. Before the Russian collection, and before the China collection, Saint Laurent ventured to Marrakech, Morocco in 1966 which became a source of long-lasting inspiration leading him to incorporate what has become to be known as the Marrakech serpent into some of his designs.
These vintage YSL earrings feature S-shaped gold serpents that are coiled around a large black glass cabochon stone. Clipping upwards on the ear, the snakes appear to climb up the ear for a unique earring design. Simple yet uniquely stunning, these vintage YSL earrings offer an edgy and alluring design that can easily be incorporated for modern styling.
