1974 Yves Saint Laurent Russian Paisley Quilted Satin Jacket Documented YSL

Never one for subtlety, French designer Yves Saint Laurent experimented with a broad palette of international inspiration throughout his life. Saint Laurent, who was born in French Algeria, was frequently heralded for invigorating the somewhat hum-drum fashion scene in Paris during the early 1970s.
