Basha Gold
Fendi Karl Lagerfeld Silk Print Dress S/S 2008 Runway
Fendi’s aesthetic can easily be described as experimental. Constantly changing and evolving, Fendi truly captures the meaning of the unexpected. Incorporating stark hues and geometric silhouettes, the Spring 2008 collection by Fendi offered an artistic elision of modern femininity and Italian futurism that spoke to then-creative director, Karl Lagerfeld’s, reimagination of art.
This dress, runway look #19 is done in layers of organza and printed silk, the skirt portion is organza with a circle print silk applique and the underlayer is printed silk.
This collection featured a similar look in the MET at the Costume Institute's spring 2023 exhibition, A Line of Beauty.
A version of this dress was in Fendi's Great Wall of China Show.
In excellent condition, and new with tags attached, this dress has been cleansed with obsidian and sage to ensure that you welcome a bright new energy into your home and has also been professionally eco-dry cleaned and pressed.
