After having a rough start in the world of fashion design, German designer Jil Sander’s career in design hit its stride during the 1980s and 90s. Casually known as the “Queen of Less”, Sander’s designs highlight a particular minimalist style that hone in on the color and silhouette of the garments. This Sander trench coat, possibly from the Spring 2007 collection evokes Sander’s signature aesthetic.
