Vintage Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Harlequin Shoulder Bag Clutch

The intrecciato weave is a synonym for Bottega Veneta. Not only is it an artisanal textural detail that gives the leather good a basket-like woven quality, it is also a versatile design detail that allows for artistic experimentation with color and pattern. Typically done in one solid color, this vintage Bottega Veneta Harlequin bag cuts against the grain with black and four supple, colorful leathers of red, yellow, purple and green on the bell-shaped bag. Perched upon the rounded top of the bag is a round leather covered knob of the kiss-lock closure.

The diagonal weaving of the rich primary colors gives it a playful and dynamic vibe that could also add a calculated splash of color to a cocktail outfit. The skinny black leather strap can be used to wear as a shoulder bag or tucked in to be carried as a clutch; it has been knotted at the top for photographing and can easily be undone if desired. The interior of the bag is lined in a brown suede and has a pocket on the back wall.

In very good condition, there is evidence of light wear with a minor spot on the exterior leather (seen in the 1st image) and evidence of wear to the interior suede lining.
