Vintage Leonard Paris Vibrant Jewel Print Silk Dress Ensemble

Exceptionally balanced with rich hues and a field of black, this vintage Leonard dress ensemble is an artisanal work of art. Typically using less figurative prints, this bodysuit and skirt use a jewel and floral print with vivid reds, yellows, purple, and aquamarine. Though two pieces, the dress ensemble gives a seamless dress effect with a flirty silhouette à la 1950s.

A plunging neckline bordered by red and gold meets just under the bust as the fitted long sleeves and padded shoulders add a dash of modesty to the look. As a bodysuit, the garment is fitted and shapes the body through the waist and finishes in a French-cut panty style on the bottom.

On the skirt, red and gold borders run around the waistband and hem echoing the neckline of the body suit. Made in a polyamide spandex, the bodysuit has no closures and can easily be slipped on from the neck opening all while shaping to the wearer’s body. The skirt however is made in silk and boasts the Leonard signature in the print motif. It closes on the side with a concealed zip and covered buttons at the waist and is lined.
